Part of becoming a great leader is knowing what to do and what to avoid doing. It is not easy to be a leader; you need to make very difficult decisions sometimes. Therefore, consider this advice so that you are aware of more of what leadership takes.

A great quality for leading effectively is integrity. This means you are always honest, even when you know no one is around. People find it difficult to trust people with no integrity. When you show integrity as a leader, you will garner trust, respect and loyalty from your subordinates.
